Structural works are usually carried out as part of most extension projects.

Structural works can vary from strengthening of rafters and floor joists, to full installation of structural beams.

It is currently popular with Architects and Clients for steel work to be hidden within the floor voids to avoid “drop down beams”. This can almost always be achieved with a bit of Pre Planning and thought before construction begins.

All steelwork elements are fully designed by our Structural Engineer to the local authority satisfaction.

On completion of installation, Building Control will approve the works and issue a Conformity of installation Certificate
