We have completed many single, double storey and alterations throughout Kent and Sussex. We pride ourselves on achieving the best match possible to the existing structure.
Brick and external material choices are made in conjunction with the client to achieve the best match possible. Often the finished extension is indistinguishable from the existing structure, but this can only be achieved with the attention to detail that Akehurst can provide, through careful planning and construction.

Loft Conversions
We have carried out many loft conversions in both traditional and trussed roof structures.
Through our years of experience and close relationships with building control and our structural engineer, we are able to provide a level of service that is second to none.
There is always a risk that Loft conversions can be disruptive to our clients, whilst work is being carried out, but we have developed a system of work that enables the majority of the opertion to be carried out without disturbance to the inside of the house. Full covered scaffolds are not always necessary, and whether the existing roof is trussed rafters or traditional construction, we can provide great additional living spaces.
